These terms and conditions apply between you, the user of this website and Jewelworks Services, the owner and operator of this website. Please read these terms and conditions carefully.

Your agreement to comply with and be bound by these terms and conditions is deemed to occur upon your first use of the website. If you do not agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, you should stop using the website immediately.

In these terms and conditions, user or users means any third party that accesses the website. You must be at least 18 years of age to use this website. By using the website and agreeing to these terms and conditions, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age.

Intellectual property and acceptable use
All content included on the website, is the property of Jewelworks Services.

In these terms and conditions, content means any text, graphics, images, audio, video, software, data compilations, page layout, underlying code and software, and any other form of information capable of being stored in a computer that appears on or forms part of this website, including any such content uploaded by users. By continuing to use the website you acknowledge that such content is protected by copyright, trademarks, database rights and other intellectual property rights. Nothing on this site shall be construed as granting, by implication estoppel, or otherwise, any license or right to use any trademark, logo or service mark displayed on the site without the owner's prior written permission.

You must not reproduce, modify, copy, distribute or use for commercial purposes any content without the written permission of Jewelworks Services

Please note, deposits on bespoke projects and commissions are non refundable.

Prohibited use
You may not use the website for any of the following purposes:
a. In any way which causes, or may cause, damage to the website or interferes with any other person's use or enjoyment of the website.
b. In any way which is harmful, unlawful, illegal, abusive, harassing, threatening or otherwise objectionable or in breach of any applicable law, regulation, governmental order.
c. Making, transmitting or storing electronic copies of content protected by copyright without the permission of the owner.

Our Designs
Unless specifically agreed in advance, all designs created on behalf of clients are the express intellectual property of Victoria Barker.

All CAD designs by us are priced on the basis that we undertake the manufacturing and setting with our trusted craftspeople.

If you you wish to use your own manufacturer an additional fee will be charged.

We cannot guarantee the outcome if you choose to do this.

These terms and conditions may be varied by us from time to time. Such revised terms will apply to the website from the date of publication. Users should check the terms and conditions regularly to ensure familiarity with the then current version.

These terms and conditions together with the Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy contain the whole agreement between the parties relating to its subject matter and supersede all prior discussions, arrangements or agreements that might have taken place in relation to the terms and conditions.

The images that are displayed on the website are for illustration purposes only and may not show the actual size of the product. Sizes, weights and measurements are approximates and for guidance only.

In the case of gemstones and diamonds, all specifications are supplied by the appropriate certification bodies. We can not be held responsible for any errors.

In the event that there are any errors regarding price or description, we reserve the right to notify you as soon as possible and give you the options to proceed with this revised order at the correct price/description, or to cancel the order.

The prices shown on the website are exclusive of UK VAT

We offer free delivery to all customers within the UK. We use Royal Mail special delivery for deliveries in the UK.

Delivery timescales are specified when you place an order. We make every effort to deliver goods within this timescale, however Jewelworks Services shall be under no liability for any delay or failure to deliver the products within estimated timescales.

Risk of loss and damage of products passes to you the customer once the products have been delivered. Goods are deemed to be delivered, when delivered at your delivery address or collected from the address indicated by the delivering agent and not when delivered to you personally.The delivery address is provided by you when placing the order. It is very important you check the delivery address provided by you. Jewelworks Services will not accept any liability for delivery to an incorrect address provided by the customer.

If you require products to be shipped to a different address than you billing address we are happy to do this, however due to our strict security checks we require you to provide 2 forms of ID from the following list: ID 1 - passport or driving licence. ID 2 - utility bill, household bill, bank statement or tax statement.

International delivery destinations may be subject to import duties, administration charges and taxes which are applied when the delivery reaches that destination. Please note that we have no control over these charges and we cannot predict their amount. You will be responsible for payment of any such import duties, administration charges and taxes. Please contact your local customs office for further information before placing your order.

Returns And Refunds
We offer a 30 day return policy on some of our items subject to the following terms. This does not apply to loose certified diamonds and gemstones.

All returned items must be in their original, unused, perfect condition with the security tag still intact. Breaking the tag will void your 30 Days returns policy.

All items must be returned with their full original packaging and with full documentation including certificates. Any items returned without their certificates (if applicable) will not be eligible for a refund or exchange.

All products must be returned within 30 days of the purchase date. Items received beyond the 30-days return period will not be eligible for a refund or exchange.

The 30 days return policy will not apply in the case were two or more items have been bought with the intension of returning one or more.

The 30 days return policy does not apply to bespoke products or If the product has been engraved or resized.

Any Items received beyond the 30-day return period, will not be eligible for the 30 days return policy.

Any loss of stones will not be covered under our return policy. We strongly advise you to insure your jewellery against any mishaps as soon as you receive it.

If you wish to return an item please contact us first and we will provide you with further instructions.

On receipt of returns, all items are fully inspected and subjected to authentication and verification by Victoria Barker London.

The postage cost of returning any item is the responsibility of the customer and will only be refunded in the case of a faulty item. It is the customers responsibility to insure any return deliveries for the full amount. Victoria Barker London is not responsible for any damages or lost packages during shipment.

We recommend you return all packages using Royal Mail special delivery and to insure the package for the full value.

For security reasons we strongly recommend you do not write the name 'Victoria Barker London' on any packages and instead write ‘J D Ltd’.

Damaged Items
When you receive your items you must check them as soon as you receive them. If any items are found to be faulty or damaged you must inform us within 30 days of delivery. Failure to inform us within 30 days will result in any items not been eligible for a refund.

All returned items must be in their original, unused, condition with the security tag still intact. Breaking the tag will void your 30 Days returns policy.

All returned items must be returned with their full packaging and certificates (if eligible)

Whilst we aim to deliver all items on time, Jewelworks Services shall have no liability to you as a result of failed timed delivery.

Whilst we take time to ensure all the information on our website is correct and up to date, Victoria Barker London cannot be held liable for any mistakes, or be held liable for any costs incurred due to mistakes.

Victoria Barker London total liability to you for any case will be limited only to the total price of items ordered.

Victoria Barker London does not bear any responsibility for defects or damage, if alterations have been carried out by any 3rd party.

We offer a 12 month warranty on all of our products against defects in manufacturing and workmanship.

If the jewellery has been in any way tampered with or altered by the customer, another jeweller or any other third party, the warranty and the return policy will cease to apply.

The warranty does not cover any wear and tear that might occur on an item.
If worn daily surface scratching will occur. All precious metals are extremely malleable and therefore susceptible to scratches, impact damage or misshape under pressure. This is completely normal. This type of wear and tear is not covered under our warranty. To protect your jewellery and keep it in good condition you should take your jewellery to be serviced once a year to remove any surface scratches.

All diamonds and gemstones are hand set and fully checked before dispatch. Stones will not become loose, dislodged or damaged unless as a result of an impact, rough handling or damage. Loss of stones is not covered under our guarantee. We therefore recommend you fully insure your jewellery to protect yourself against any accidental damage or loss.

Free Ring sizing
We understand that customers often get the ring size wrong. This is why we offer a free ring resizing service for your first resize (upto 2 sizes).

Any additional resizes will be charged from £50 including VAT.

Postage costs incurred in sending an item to us is the responsibility of the customer, however we will send the ring back to you free of charge.
It is the customers responsibility to insure any return deliveries for the full amount. Victoria Barker London is not responsible for any damages or lost packages during shipment.

If your item has been engraved, you're engraving may fade in the resizing process, so it will need to be engraved again.

Some rings can only be resized within an existing available size range.

Please note full eternity rings due to their design cannot be resized. It is therefore very important when purchasing full eternity rings to make sure you have the correct size.
